Minorities are afraid of the Republican party or conservative groups BECAUSE THE LEFT MEDIA TELLS THEM THEY ARE RACIST.

There is no evidence that either hates minorities, though I suppose gays have a right to feel they won’t be welcomed. And if you are Hispanic and illegal, you wouldn’t be either. Other that that, why would it matter what your background or skin color is: you should want to associate with those who want to give you freedom.

"... an appropriately active, as opposed to passive, choice of words..."
Thank you, Mr. Fitzgibbons, for that language lesson.
And I wish you well upon your expected high school graduation.
Attending my brother’s Swarthmore graduation exercise, I was struck by the claim of a professor that the graduates would readily find gainful employment because they knew how to write “a simple declarative statement in the active voice.”

I am pleased to learn that you are never tempted into writing in the passive voice, and that you never encounter it in the writings of others. I myself have been fighting that temptation for two generations since then. It’s part of why I take have to take time to write and edit in hopes that the result will be worthy of the attention of FReepers.
