My God, this guy is such an embarrassment. He is all symbolism and no substance. That’s why he trotted out that old has-been James Taylor and dragged his butt to France to serenade our former allies with that insipid and saccharine song “You’ve Got a Friend.”

When said by an American commenting on what is happening it is a joke, a reference to the fact that stuff just drags on and on and on and that nothing can be done to speed it up.
I don’t think it’s anything more than him trying to show off by using an everyday expression “Insh’allah” is down out without thinking by most of the Arab/Muslim world, it’s the linguistic equivalent of “Hope so”.
I tried to make the point that it can also be a joke. It is sarcasm for it ain’t going to happen soon

yes that I think was the report I had read awhile ago- thanks for finding it- Kerry can claim anything he likes, but given his track record for LYING- I’d sooner believe Larry Thurlow than kerry
