I am a staunch supporter of Israel for the very reason that Golda Meir and Joe Biden voiced, and while I do not know Biden's motivation, I completely agree with what the statement quoted above. I pray that such a terrible day never comes to pass, but I am afraid that even America will turn against Israel and then its own Jews. I don't know when, but fallen humans eventually fall back into the same sins. When that day comes, Jews will have "only" God to protect them, and nowhere else to go but to the land that he promised.
Biden said, in essence, that the USA is about to turn on its native Jewish population as it turned on Israel.
