Poll: Clear majority supports nuclear deal with Iran (Washington Post Lies)
Washington Post ^ | 30 March 15 | Scott Clement and Peyton M. Craighill

By a nearly 2 to 1 margin, Americans support the notion of striking a deal with Iran that restricts the nation’s nuclear program in exchange for loosening sanctions, a new Washington Post-ABC News poll finds.

But the survey — released hours before Tuesday’s negotiating deadline — also finds few Americans are hopeful that such an agreement will be effective. Nearly six in 10 say they are not confident that a deal will prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons, unchanged from 15 months ago, when the United States, France, Britain, Germany, China and Russia reached an interim agreement with Iran aimed at sealing a long-term deal.

Overall, the poll finds 59 percent support an agreement in which the United States and its negotiating partners lift major economic sanctions in exchange for restrictions on Iran’s nuclear program. Thirty-one percent oppose a deal.

Support outpaces opposition across nearly all demographic and political groups, with liberals (seven in 10) and Democrats (two-thirds) the most supportive. At least six in 10 independents and moderates also back the broad idea of a deal with Iran.

This is such BS and a lie. Look at the "Question" that the Washington Post-ABC poll used:

"Q: Thinking now about the situation with Iran - would you support or oppose an agreement in which the United States and other countries would lift major economic sanctions against Iran, in exchange for Iran restricting its nuclear program in a way that makes it harder for it to produce nuclear weapons?"

Based on that leading question, WP-ABC got a 59% "Support" to 31% "Opposed" result. And that is the Obama/Jarrett headline, that the "American people support this deal."

Their very next question, however, shows that almost 60% of those who responded don't have confidence that this will stop Iran from developing nuclear weapons.

I remember the 1979 Iran Hostage Crisis. To think, that our White House would be ENCOURAGING and covering for these criminals is beyond the beyond. Yet, that is the madness and the insanity of the times we live.

I wonder what percentage of those who supposedly support a deal can even find Iran on a map or name its capital.

But that’s not what Obama’s deal does.

Obama’s deal lifts restrictions with no promises from Iran.

This is the question they should have asked:

Are you in favor of the current agreement being signed as quick as possible so you can go back to focusing on who will win the NCAA tournament and what's happening with Bruce Jenner's sex change?

I bet a clear majority have no idea what the deal is, I’m not sure I do.

Ø/J-Fn-K’s deal provides pre-Nuke Iran “Safe Harbor” to a Nuclear Iran. This was always going to be the trickiest for Iran to avoid a bombing - as Israel puts off action to the last politically-possible moment, and Ø/J-Fn-K want to help minimize that risk.

Another example of what to expect when you poll ignorant people.

How about “Are you in favor of signing an agreement that cannot possibly be enforced, is based on fantasies and lies, is clearly meant to mollify the left and the ignorant, and will surely result in a nuclear arms race, regional war or even nuclear world war?”

Why of course, wouldn’t you?

Show me the questions and the polling criteria. Show me the cross tabs and then we’ll talk. At this point this is just a propaganda push poll set up by the administration.

Where on earth do these idiots poll because first it was people think homosexuality is normal and accepted by younger people and now this.

They have to be polling in the west coast and north east as their poll is not what it is here in the south.

This is not surprising to me. After the disaster in Iraq Americans want no more in the Middle east. If they get nukes— just turn them to glass if they use one on OUR soil!!. We did that with the Soviets and they crumbled in fear of annihilation. Sovereign countries like England, France, Russia, Pakistan, India, China , North Korea, Israel, do sovereign things. You cannot stop them because you have no right to stop them. We intuitively know that we have no right to tell any sovereign nation what to do.

This must be the same poll that said Bibi was going to lose his re-election bid by a large margin.
