Well this betrays a certain lack of knowledge about the goose-step, which remains a feature of military drills in about 50 countries today. It’s quite simply a form of military march, one that long predates its usage by the Third Reich, and in current use carries no association with that period.

Oh I kno. Goose stepping doesnt mean they’re a Nazi. The NorKors are big on it. And they aren’t Nazis.

You can also see a fine example of it the movie War and Peace where a Russian battalion is advancing under fire at the battle of Borodino.

This is a long video but really very interesting. This is a marvelous parade, and really very sharp display. Modern units intermingled with units in historical uniforms. Very well done — and impressive.
