You mean he didn't take the bold stand to vote 'Present'?
I'd love to see the Senate and Congressional rules amended so that no elected representative may vote "present," which is an obnoxious cop-out. I'd like to see the only options to be either a yes or no vote. If that can be accomplished, then anybody that cares can see how their rep or senator voted on any issue.
Another thing I'd like to see, that I may get flamed a bit for, is for the government to spend money sending out small booklets on how each state's representative voted on any bills for that cycle, so that they cannot say one thing then vote the other way.
