The White House on Tuesday introduced President Obama’s blueprint for cutting greenhouse gas emissions in the United States by nearly a third over the next decade.
Mr. Obama’s plan, part of a formal written submission to the United Nations ahead of efforts to forge a global climate change accord in Paris in December.
But the plan’s reliance on executive authority is an acknowledgment that any proposal to pass climate change legislation would be blocked by the Republican-controlled Congress.
At the heart of the plan are ambitious but politically contentious Environmental Protection Agency regulations meant to drastically cut planet-warming carbon dioxide emissions from the nation’s cars and coal-fired power plants.
The plan also relies on a speedy timetable, which assumes that Mr. Obama’s administration will issue and begin enacting all such regulations before he leaves office
“We can achieve this goal using laws that are already on the books, and it will be in place by the time the president leaves office,” said Brian C. Deese, Mr. Obama’s senior adviser on climate change.

Will the offset be measurable?
What will be the “sink or swim” date to roll back these cuts if they have no appreciable improvement in the climate? What penalties will the advocates for the cuts face when their doomsday prophecy does not come to pass?

It will not be needed. His (Valerie Jarrett’s/Jarrett’s masters) plan for Iran to create a nuclear bomb, and to launch that bomb in the form of an EMP off the Atlantic coast will take care of ALL carbon emissions in the US. Once and for all.
They should because I consider this a terrorist attack, an economic terrorist attack which is yet again another act of treason by Obama. A few months ago he announced more regulations of gas and oil companies to “reduce methane and curb climate change”. The percentage of Methane in the atmosphere is 0.00017%. It’s nothing! There are probably more of Obamas ass hairs in the atmosphere than there is methane, but he doesn’t care because climate change is not why he is doing this, it’s just an excuse. He is doing it to hurt the economy because when you put more regulations on oil and gas companies they raise the price and when those prices rise so does the cost of everything else. It IS a terrorist attack on our economy.
