A few hours before Central Student Government is set to consider a divestment resolution during their weekly meeting, members of the campus group Students Allied for Freedom and Equality hung a banner from a window in Mason Hall, which read “The Deaths of These Children” and included a list of names.
The list names children who have allegedly died amid the conflict between Palestinians and Israelis. The banner says the deaths of these children were “sponsored by” companies such as the Boeing Company, Caterpillar Inc., G4S and United Technologies Corporation.
SAFE, a Palestinian solidarity group, posted a photo of the banner on social media Monday morning with the caption “commemorating the lives of innocent Palestinian Children #UMDivest.”

So the obvious question is why our politicians and college émployees let our taxpayer supported public college campuses be turned into mass staging grounds for nazi and islamobazi lies, recruiting and INtimidation of Christian, jewish, and other citizens.
College student governments are such a stupid idea
to show fairness they should divest from muslim countries where women are second class, gays are murdered by the govt and Jews are forbidden to enter...
They’re little pretend government never does anything anyway. The school won’t be divesting from Israel because they get lots of research grants from Israel.
The last speaker was a blowhard that couldn’t get off not only divestiture, but couldn’t stop giving digs to Boeing, UTX etc etc....

Colleges themselves are now a stupid idea. For parents of non-socialist/Marxists, that is.
I think the question is why the taxpayers allow this to happen when they’re paying for it and it doesn’t benefit them at all.
It’s sorta the same reason why people watch/support/fund tv shows and movies that promote everything opposite of their values/view. Most people just don’t care enough and one side has total support of the media, which is huge.
Not really. They worked in the 60’s and 70’s, and continue to work, for the democrat/liberal/Marxist agenda. So actually, they’ve been a terrific idea for one side.

Wrong. They influence tons of college students, who vote. We should be doing the same. They’re an arm of the democratic party and we should have an equivalent.
And the college is not going to tell Israel to take their money and leave.
They vote on this stuff all the time and they always pass it with zero effect.
