10 years, that’s what they told me in 1984.
Maybe we need an executive order?

It’s what they’ve been saying since 1955. We are with fusion where the practice of medicine was before Ignatz Semelweis developed the germ theory of disease. A breakthrough not necessarily of technology but of human genius that will seem obvious once it is realized, but only a genius will first see it.

Well it seems fusion is perpetually ten years out! In the forties nuclear energy was said to be so cheap that it would cost more to meter it that the actual cost of producing it. These claims are usually driven by those who stand to make the most in the research and development of said godsend!!! Democrats are always on board to shower the liberal universities with grant money to develop these projects and upon success will immediately begin the campaign to bar the use of it!!
