Just so they know, I’m boycotting the NCAA Final 4 because they discriminate against Christians.

Wasn’t it also in North Korea, during Kim Jong-Il’s funeral, that each mourner had to outdo each other in visably prostrating themselves?

These public denouncements, from CEO’s to politicians to pop-culture figures, have a similar whiff. This really doesn’t seem like America any more AT ALL. The country has morphed into some kind of surreal cultural-totalitarian state reminiscent of old style “behind the Iron Curtain” entities.

I’m so repelled and disgusted with what has become of this country I could vomit. And that includes these pathetic coaches. Spineless cowards all.

"The statement released through the National Association of Basketball Coaches emphasizes condemns every form [emphasis added] of discrimination."

I don’t understand this unthinking reaction to discrimination. After all, the states already discriminate on the basis of minimum age with respect to things like guns, alcoholic beverages and drivers’ licenses.

Discriminating against discrimination is evidently an indoctrinated reaction.

The only balls that college basketball has come from a factory or are in their mouths.

That's correct.

Sodomizers and those who either look the other way or approve and acknowledge their sin are headed straight to Hell.

Well I don’t know what your post has to do with anything relevant to this topic.....but way to go for the teeny tiny little under funded MASSIVE PUBLICS SCHOOLS - all the while taking credit for loving the fuzzy little under dogs....

And if you’re a true Zag fan, you’d think about Duke the way Mark Few thinks about Duke - which is that they are the model program for the Zags. Maybe you’re just a bandwagoneer too...

That's absurd, at least with respects to those who "look the other way." It is not incumbent on a coach to fight this battle. These four guys are just trying to shut the media up/

Just in our lifetime.

Why isn’t the whole NCAA thing just canceled?

They should focus on basketball. Getting involved in local politics takes away from the Final Four.

There's $9 billion estimated in wagering on the outcome. So it's gonna happen.

Our lifetime has been a slow slide downward with the occasional move up. The last six years has been fast sledding towards a cliff, the last two have been a virtual free fall.

I truly hope NASCAR and the NCAA gets record low ratings this year.

I won’t be watching.

C. Edward, I usually enjoy your posts, so I'm a bit befuddled at your rage tonight? Are you a Duke grad? BTW, my post was directed at fans who follow Duke only because they've won a ton of championships, like the Yankees. I directed no bile at the team or their coach, who beat us fair and square. It was one of the most exciting games I've ever attended. Coach K impressed me after the game with his extended conversation with Kevin Pangos.

Yeah, I've been a "front runner" for the Zags, since I matriculated there in the fall of 1972. Have a good evening.

This has been the worst NCAA tournament that I can recall. It feels more like a coronation for Calapari and Kentucky.

Apparently they don’t want Christians watching their games. No problem.

Pray America is waking

I didn’t hear them condemn Tim Cook and his company APPLE for his BIGOTED HATE FILLED COMMENTARY!!

If they were true to their word they would be demanding that ALL APPLE PRODUCTS be made ILLEGAL in the entire STATE.
