I don't think that another Bush will be elected, let's hope he won't be nominated either. I see the primary elections as our problem, that and the media cheering for the Repub that they want. A couple of states go first and too much attention is paid to them. Why can't all states vote on the same day?

Go Cruz Go!

LOL…in other words, the Wash comPost thinks the GOP needs a candidate who can’t make a speech as well as the loser Romney did. Yeah. They really think Republicans are that stupid.

Gee, I wonder why Rubin and the WaPo would not mention Cruz? And would be talking about . . . Rubio. Seems like they are, like most commentators, only seeing the most superficial characteristics of the contenders. Seems like they’re saying “There’s another Hispanic candidate, you know. Rubio can also get some Hispanic votes.” Their love of propaganda is only exceeded by their lack of understanding of the real issues.

What about all those who actually compare Cruz and OBAMA!!! Because they were both one-term senators who arrived on the scene suddenly? How blind to the issues can people possibly be?

The only thing clear about them is their agenda: Keep a social conservative away from us at any cost to our own credibility.

W. Destroyed the Bush name. He doubled the national debt.

Fighting a shooting war/wars tend to do that.

Yeah, I can still get reflux thinking about McCain. The only thing he did for us was bring Palin to the national stage.

It was not a war. It was two nation building exercises. Both were miserable failures. Now all that equipment is being used by ISIS. The jihadies are carrying M-16 rifles and driving Humvees.

They just can’t figure it out. This is what happens when the only people you write for and socialize with live inside the urban enclave

Why? Because voters only have to be smarter than him to understand he is a dud. Not even Romney II.

He believes all these browns that pay no tax and suck up services don’t cost anything and improve the economy? Maybe for the businesses who are in his pockets but not for us.

Note to big donors... Bush, Rubio, Christie... I stay home. I’m resolved to that. I won’t play the slow death game by left of centrists or corporationistis or chamber of commercistas.

Turn the ship or sink it.

Interesting take. And mine exactly.

I have had some typing problems since I accidentally cut the end of my finger off late last fall.

I have had a skin graft, but have lost feeling in that finger.

That is where I am. If we can’t see a direction improvement carry a grenade into the room and pull the pin. Make it bad enough to create a schism strong enough for action.

I think THE ESTABLISHMENT is now ready to throw Jeb overboard - he is just too far left to have a shot at the nomination - and they are risking a victory for Walker, or GOD FORBID Cruz

I've been waiting for the establishment to go after Walker and it hasn't happened. That concerns me...

If not for his last name, Jeb would be one of several governors or ex-governors being seen as competitive candidates—not that he would necessarily be the leader of the pack. But his last name is poison—we’ve never had three members of the same family as President (and never even two so close together), the media has spent the last 15 years demonizing the name Bush, and conservatives are afraid that we’d get a repeat of the policies we didn’t like with the first two Bushes.
