“One of the biggest criticisms has been that Cruz has so little support among those GOP elite.”

***

That’s a bad thing?

” In the eyes of the political and media elite, presidential candidate Ted Cruz is far too extreme ideologically to win the nomination; doesn’t have enough support from party bigwigs; is hated by almost everyone and no one trusts him; uses distortive, misleading rhetoric; is venal and self-obsessed; says crazy things; is not actually very smart; and is everything that is wrong with modern politics.”

A sure WINNER !!

Don't people ever wonder why democrats (and, honestly, GOPe types) always immediately resort to the ad hominum?

Even if they don't bother to research the obvious lies and mischaracterizations, shouldn't they notice the knee jerk tendency to attack with insults rather than engage intellectually?

I'd like to think that even if I were unable to discern or didn'tt care much about the importance of the issues of our day I would be suspicious of someone who so quickly resorts to playground bully tactics.

He has been very reminiscent of Reagan and is scaring the bejeezus out of liberals. Would love to see him debate any liberal, especially a fringe lunatic one. But, any one would do. He handles gotcha questions from the MSM like a pro, and thinks on his feet with lightning speed.
Go get’em Ted!

The image makeover of the former Ted Cruz has begun. *sigh*

Sen. Cruz, regards the Iran deal: “Any deal that is not ratified as a treaty by the Senate is not binding in American law,” Cruz said. “The next president can repudiate it.”
