True it was pretty wicked at that time too....pagans were bringing in their leftover rituals and such which Paul needed to address time and again....also the church was very young and not fully informed or established....so that was bound to be.
...the difference is the church today has been established and it’s falling off a cliff ‘by going along’ with these ideologies and various other “Infiltrations”, rather than speak against them...and it’s the leadership that’s NOT doing so.. The result is either the church splits and or they tolerate what should not be tolerated.

These are the things we worry about today. A hundred years ago people were doing o.k. if only a couple of their kids died before adulthood.
If we ever live in a time where homosexuals are viewed as the trivial oddities that they are, it will be because we are back to worrying about normal human things like death, starvation, genocide, war,etc....
If a Christian baker is asked to bake a gay wedding cake, they can simply say...
"I am a Christian and I personally object to the idea of gay marriage. While I hold strong convictions that would prevent me from baking you a cake, I am compelled by the government to do so under threat of prosecution or financial penalty. Since I am being forced to bake the cake, I must warn you that I do not do a very good job performing my craft while I am under duress. There is a high likelihood that I will be come so nervous and upset during the process that I will screw up the ingredients, drop the cake, forget to refrigerate it or even make it the wrong color. I think it is only fair that I warn you of that potential before you pay your deposit."

I don’t think the gays will say no.
No gays I know objects to traditional marriage. What they want is to MAKE gay marriage EQUAL to traditional marriage.
There’s a huge difference.
One is ALREADY accepted by all. The other is FIGHTING to be accepted.

A more apt parallel would be for the Westboro Baptist Church to ask the gays to bake a cake with the Leviticus 18:22 written on it.
Their actual goal is the destruction of marriage
