Own, yes but shooting direction must be controlled. Firing to the southerly direction could add to global warming as the hot lead being fired melts the ice as it lands and causes the oceans to rise. Even with Obama’s pledge to lower the oceans we must not rely on that promise.

To tell you the truth, I expected a slight backlash on my comment, but the overall attitude seems to be that they did it to themselves.

I have two close friends (expats) living in Oz and they know exactly where I'm coming from.

The people of that nation are good people, but they are sheep and they allow a few bleeding heart assholes to trash a large majority of basic rights, all in the name of "feel good".

Pretty disgusting, but the tide is slightly turning...two years ago, they would not have even discussed the gun situation...now, quite a few are questioning their government.

More power to them...perhaps someday they'll throw the yoke off.

sort-of like a dozen or so states in the US. Kind of like obamacare.... FCC internet regs, ATF banning weapons on a whim, being forced to bake homo wedding cakes, DEA confiscating private property, gov stealing you land to build shopping malls, man there is a big list. I don't think we have much on them, we are being takes just as badly as they are, probably worse
