Not one Candidate on either side can come close or even compare to Cruz' intelligence.
They all seem like go-alongs, just as they've been for the last couple decades. No spirit,
stale bread.
Cruz is my choice by a long shot, but don’t sell Jindal short in the intelligence department. Just a feeling on my part.
The RINO wonks are sitting up and taking notice........dismayed at the fact that Ted Cruz will be a “serious” candidate.
The silver spoon money men of the Republican elite realize now that they are going to need more than just money to win.
Ted Cruz is going to be more than a serious candidate, he is going to drive the issues of the entire Republican nomination process.
It was recently revealed that Politico has enormous amount of subcriptions paid for by the Obama Administration. Most of us know Politico is a leftist tool but now we know they are bought and paid for by the left.
Me too....I've been watching Cruz operate since he took His Stand ..ALONE....Filibustering all night.....but really instructing everyone what the Constitution is and how are Government Operates.....I stayed up the entire because he was sooo engaging and explained it all in such an understandable and meaningful way....I was listening to someone who believed what he was saying! At last!
bttt
And the sleeping giant awakens...
CRUZ TO VICTORY OR GET BUSHED !
I like Bobby Jindal and have since he became a national figure. I don’t think he is going to catch fire in the way that Cruz has. I am supporting Cruz and find my admiration of him growing more all the time.
Or, you know, he could simply appeal to the majority of American voters with his ideas of less taxes, less government intrusion into our lives, less meddling in foreign affairs... plus some excellent oratory and some fine debate moments... plus his youth and telegenic appearance (old hag Hillary is going to need a trowel for her makeup for live TV events).
(Defining his base as "TEA Party and Christian Right" simply gives the media their opening to prevent more support coming to him by denigrating the TEA Party and Christians, which are already 2 of their favorite sports. Don't fall for it.)
I would love to see their faces as they pore over the lists of people donating who didn’t contribute during the 2014 cycle.
drivel....
the Christian right and the Tea Party have been together from the beginning.
The stupid statement implies a non existent division
oh and..... while there is a Christian Right, there is in fact no Tea Party. The Tea Party is a mental construct, a body of thought, of agreement, of dissention, and a rally point
Ted Cruz. Accept no substitute.
I would love to see their faces as they pore over the lists of people donating who didnt contribute during the 2014 cycle.
The Cruz for President campaign announced that of $4 million raised in only 8 days since Ted Cruz announced his candidacy, 95% came from contributions of $100 or less.
The Cruz campaign is ecstatic at this indication of broad, grassroots support and the concern it's causing in the minds of other prospective candidates; a huge unknown factor for other campaigns because the FEC doesn't require reporting contributor names and information for amounts under $200.
There is more going on here for the Cruz groundswell than merely "TEA Party" and "Christian Right" supporters, or any other little boxes that lazy, liberal media drones like to check off.
Hmmm. I guess this time around the GOPe has taken care of letting people know what their main guy stands for...
You don't get it. Every single one of 'em can mouth those ideas (except the foreign affairs part). But, we know from painful and repeated experience, that when the rubber meets the road, their spines turn to mush. (All I really needed to know about Ted Cruz was when the despicable John McCain called him a Whacko Bird.)
I agree totally. I do think that one reason Cruz’s campaign might be leaning heavily on the religious aspect right now is that the far left will eventually develop fatigue with screaming about it before the campaign heats up. I’m not implying he’s not sincere - I think everything he does and says is sincere. But what any campaign elects to emphasize is always a choice.
Right. On the campaign trail, and especially when it comes to the debates, his intelligence and sincerity (as well as political savvy) will shine out.
Still, I think it's more than that. He radiates a freshness of energy and ideas, a confidence and a depth of integrity that the others simply can't match. In a way, that's what makes me think of Reagan more than the positions.
