What shocks me most about this article is that there’s nothing in it I disagree with.

It’s true, there are two Americas -the “red” part, and the “blue” part.

Now the term “blue” once was used in the context that it referred to scatological or even nearly pornographic portrayals of various facets of life, and it was definitely not for polite society.

The “blue” part of the two Americas has apparently adopted this aspect, promoting all kinds of challenges to respectable and civil society by their “in your face” confrontations and making their charges sometimes out of whole cloth, based on a lie and blown up far beyond even a grotesque misrepresentation of the facts.

I would just as soon these rotten children behaving badly were to be set aside for a time-out, if not expelled from our presence altogether. They add nothing to the dialogue, and prevent any reasonable compromise from being worked out. They prefer having the issue to ever having its resolution.

Everyone knows that liberals and progressives and the rest on the Left are stark raving nuts. Unfortunately, they're very dangerous nuts who don't have a concept of "leaving other people alone."

The one institution that liberals subscribe to above all others is the Institution of Slavery. Our sans testicles and sans backbone politicians are far too weak kneed to say, "Enough!"

Our judges are far too often also liberals and also believe in slavery.

Eventually, the only avenue left will be civil war. If the military backs the government, the good guys have no chance.

Then you're left with something Winston Churchill said and believed, and to which William F. Buckley supplied a corollary: It's better to die than to live as slaves.

If you want to destroy the left, the place to do it is at universities and public schools. Decertify the unions, fire them all, disband the school, reorganize under new charters, and hire anew.

Really. Summer's coming. Time to do it.

Use the legislatures we control to make laws that will overturn everything they want or hope to gain.

That was tried just recently in Indiana and Arkansas.

Didn't turn out so well.

“deranged gay rights activist Floyd Corkins, radicalized by the Southern Poverty Law Center, a left-wing hate group, attacked the headquarters of the Family Research Council back in 2012, shooting and wounding a guard before he was himself shot down.”

Correction: Corkins was not shot down. He was wrestled to the ground by the security guard whom corkins shot.

The left NEVER should have been taken seriously. I saw this as a failure of the republicans and so called conservatives years ago. We have a ruling class that doesn’t even understand how ridiculous the left is.

I have supported all the republican presidents, but the greatest evil done by George W Bush was his pathetic mantra that the left are good people “We just have an honest disagreement on the issues”.

Leftists, racists, thieves, radicals, perverts, religion haters, America haters, are NOT good people and they do NOT have valid “disagreements” with us. They are trouble makers and idiots who get people KILLED all the time.

That is the reality of the left going back at least to the French revolution.

I agree with the article, but it doesn’t really matter in the grand scheme of things. The “teens” plan to kill or maim you or your loved ones way before the homos get a chance to make you bake a cake.

Few laws used to be needed, because an unwritten moral framework dictated appropriate behavior. Since that framework has been deliberately torn down, another “must” allegedly take its place: Fascism.

The left and Muslims have a similar strategy. Demand civility and lie about their true intentions when weak, but keep pushing to the limit. Then, when they are strong enough, oppress the hell out of the other side. That civility crap? That was before.

Liberals are tough to handle when they get to about 40 percent, which is where they are now. Muslims get difficult when they are about 10 percent.

At some point we would think that this Liberal/Progressive insanity would crash under its own weight of contradictions.

Something that should have happened a long long time ago, but it persists.

How?, that’s easy. Education and Political correctness combined with the media.

Why it is still even something that needs to be discussed is another story.

Why are there soo many people fighting for their “right” and the “rights” of others to be completely ignorant?

Why are soo many seemingly “intelligent” people promoting and excusing soo many demonstrably destructive ideas and behaviors?

I understand why the “top” of the left’s leaders would want this. I don’t understand why soo many continue to follow them. They can’t all be that stupid.

I mean, at some point reality hits them in their face and they grow up, they recognize that life isn’t lolly pops and cotton candy.

I understand that the adoption and promotion of the “New Deal”, “Fair Deal” et al.., has attempted to remove any and all “Crisis” that anyone may encounter. And crisis is what continues in their lives.

The crisis is, and is being advanced by the very people they are relying on to solve their issues.

Why isn’t there more people, not only recognizing this, speaking out against it?

Are they all so brainwashed?

Are they no longer able to think for themselves?

Are they afraid and intimidated into compliance?

It makes no sense.

We keep swinging at shadows. The Democrat Party could care less about homosexual wedding cakes. They could care less about homosexual weddings. They could care less about homosexuals.

They care about this as a means to attack their opponents.

It used to be that they would drag out homosexuals in the military to throw up a smokescreen. Now it’s this and gun control.

The leaders of the Democrat Party want access to government money so they can steal it. Hillary Clinton “lost” $6,000,000,000 from the State Department. Have you seen her pay it back?

This is an excellent article.

But it overlooks some serious realities.

For example, it says: When they break a contract or lie to the public or whatever else, sue them, sue them, and then sue them again.

Sounds good, right? Sounds logical, right? Except that, to sue, you need a lawyer. But try finding a conservative lawyer. They don't exist. At least, they don't exist in heavily liberal areas, which is exactly where the liberals are most likely to run wild. So what do you do then? How do you sue without a lawyer? Yes, it "can be done," but law is an actual profession, and there's lots you don't know that your opponant - a law firm - does know. So you're going into battle with one hand tied behind your back, before a liberal judge and a liberal jury.

Yes, they should be sued. But where's a law firm that will do it?

Thanks for this excellent article which is spot on. I have recently written 3 liberal columnists about their articles. Two I didn’t hear back from but one absolutely attacked me, even insulting my parents just for the strong but very polite letter I sent him.

My initial letter was on point and respectful. But, when he attacked my parents (out of the blue), my second and last letter made the point to him that I must have hit the bullseye calling him a liberal because his response of a “personal” attack while ignoring the subject matter was vintage Democrat/Alinsky.

Some of u Freepers are excellent writers, I hope you take this guy to heart and start pushing back on some of these columnists and pundits!

He’s right that the social contract has been destroyed. Photographers, bakers, and other professionals who provide expressive services have an obligation to society to be circumspect. They cannot refuse to provide services, or they will feed the hunger of the violent mob. They can, however, be creative in accepting.

“Of course I do weddings, even gay weddings. What is the date?” . . . “Okay. My rate would be $14,000.” . . . “Too much? Even with the custom inscription of your choice? Well, please let me know if you decide to use my services.”

“Of course I bake wedding cakes.” . . . “Why would the fact that you are gay have anything to do with baking a cake?” . . . “Oh, for that cake, it would be $35,000.” . . . “No, I’m not refusing. That would be illegal. I’m negotiating.”

“Yes, I provide wedding services.” . . . “Yes, for gay weddings too.” . . . “I know what you mean about people refusing service based on discrimination against a class. How do you feel about compelling those people to provide services against their will?” . . . “Really? Oh, dear! You must leave. I can not serve you, not because you are gay but because you support slavery. Slavery is a ‘trigger word’ for me, and I cannot work in that environment, please go away from my ‘safe space’.”

“The wedding venue you booked in my B&B, which is also my home? Sorry about the last minute notice, but we’re having septic issues, and I have three trucks here pumping right now. Fortunately, I booked a backup location when I saw the issue emerging, and you can use a pavilion at the park. Even with my coordinator’s fee, that will save you money. I’ll be refunding a third of what you paid, as specified on page 6 of the contract, which says that if there is a need for a substitute location, I will provide a venue within ten miles distance and with comparable capacity, refunding up to one-third of the fee paid.”

And the fault for this lies entirely with the Left.

Many keep telling themselves that while sitting on their thumbs and doing nothing to even slow the Left down. Just like the RINOs they detest, they are also complicit when they allow an Obama to have a second term.
