The Islamic issue is one that is front and center nowadays.
I think it’s a bad idea to mix Islam with Western civilization.
There is no need for it, as these people have a wide area of places where they can congregate and live under the laws they like. They aren’t without a homeland. Why give them ours?
They don’t like Western ways, or Western laws, so leave them be in the Middle East or elsewhere out of Europe or the U. S.
As for the problem we’re having, it’s of our own doing. We could stop it any time we wanted. Instead we allow the occupation of our land.
Do I resent the people who come here? Yes I did, if they do it illegally. If they come on a visa and do what is expected of them, I have much less of a problem.
I will say that this segment of our society is so massive, that we need a complete halt to immigration for a period of time. Let this wave assimilate, and I mean fully, and then allow more on a much smaller scale to come.
This may take 30-40 years before assimilation occurs. If it doesn’t occur, or isn’t pursued by the illegal contingent, then simply cut off any more of them for as long as it takes.
There is no excuse for large portions of the U. S. or individual states to be essentially foreign territory.
