Sadly, too many of these vermin have moved from MD to VA and like liberal locusts, have begun destroying new fertile fields.

And that’s on everything over 17k
but no sales tax.

The Tax Foundation ranks them 13th lowest for total tax burden in the US.
Of course “individual results may vary”

7% is a high marginal rate. I dont spend much so I’d rather have a sales tax and no income tax.

Yes, everyone has to consider their own personal situation if using taxes as their criteria for relocation.

Sales vs income
what defines “income” (soc sec, investment income, pensions, etc taxed or exempt?)
level of property tax (and cost of property itself)

Simple solution: Government will decide where you live.

“NYS has been running those ads about how businesses should move to NYS and pay no taxes at all for first 10 years,

They make it sound like a Hong Kong or Singapore. “

Hong Kong & Singapore were tax cool WAY before Reaganomics. It’s why they are so wealthy. No other reason for it. Right before I moved to Malaysia (2001-2002, they slashed personal and corporate taxes to the bone. The country’s economy exploded, and still is to this day. Pick any country in the world who slashed their taxes, and I will show you a booming economy. NO exceptions.

All according to the grand scheme.
  1. Abolition of all rights of inheritance.

  2. Confiscation of the property of all emigrants and rebels. …
  1. Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries; gradual abolition of all the distinction between town and country by a more equable distribution of the populace over the country. …

Is it too extreme to say that low tax, free market nations can better survive corrupt politicians?

By this I mean that a politician on the take is less noticeable and less consequentialism if businesses are doing as well as he is and both sides have less cause for confrontation.

This is also why corrupt Marxist politicians, including Obama of course, are so dangerous....they believe NOBODY is allowed to do well except them. The result is an economy crawling along with non-crony businesses attempting to avoid any conspicuous success.

Not extreme; quite reasonable actually.

Nice post!
