Because it buys votes for Democrats.
in short.. socialism!
I won’t hire anyone who gets bailed out.
Because funding the liberal universities was always the goal of the loans program.
I paid my way through university with zero student loan debt.
I never took out a loan to pay for it.
Today’s kids find repaying debt hard. That’s life.
Taxpayers should bailout me first.
With what I pay, I’m supporting several illegal immigrants, three food-stamp recipients, two HHS employees, a few members of ISIS with Obama supplied weapons, and a lesbian and race-studies college professor supported by Federal grants.
Help!
Because our young are our future?
It’s a good question, but so is, why should student loan lenders or the government be exempt from bankruptcy laws?
Not good to start off the campaign antagonizing the Soylent Green industry.
A Masters in “Peace and Conflict Resolution”????
Words fail me.
.
we shouldn’t.
>>Because our young are our future?<<
And need to learn responsibility. That is the best lesson we can impart to them.
Another excuse to steal money from the taxpayers and give it to a DemocRat voting class.
Just like Obama.
They know that big money supports winners, not ideology.
My opinion is that a huge percentage of one percenters are Democrats (crony capitalist Democrats) like Buffet, etc.
Because the banks that made the loans can’t be left holding the bag. They don’t deserve any risk, only profit.
Senator Warren, do you know what is going to crush our kids? The $18 trillion federal debt.
The presumption when the state takes your driver’s license away until you pay your debt is that you have the money and are not using it to pay your debt. I know a man who got fined by the EPA. It was way more money than he had. They took his driver’s license and he lost his job. He has slipped further and further into poverty in a cascade of consequences. This is very common now. Another FR posting today said that 1/6 of California driver’s have lost their license because of unpaid fines. (Incidentally, in Florida there is, in addition to the fine. a $495 “reinstatement” fee. Seriously, if you can’t pay the first $1,000 and it goes to collection where they add (I think) 40%, how will you afford fine, plus collection plus $495?) We are getting fee’d to death!
In keeping with current PC trends and white privilege, only minorities should be bailed out from their school loans...
