“A Masters in Peace and Conflict Resolution????”
If lenders were on the hook for bad student loans, it’d be a lot harder to get a degree in stupid shit like that.

Whoops, already posted; I should have scrolled down farther first.
>>Consider this: They went to school, worked hard, and then graduated. Next they found out that there were NO JOBS! They are not responsible for that. We are, because we have not tended our politics well.<<
Are you sure you are on the right forum? Of course there are jobs. For people that chose to learn what the market needs. I assure you in my field of technology we are always looking for bright young people to hire.
I took out loans and PAID THEM BACK (gasp).
“No jobs” is liberal claptrap.
For some strange reason that pic reminds me of actress Demi Moore...
That is the same way I did it. Still, anyone who thinks today's job market is a snap has been fortunate. There are numerous folks with hard core degrees who can't find jobs.
Too often, my suggestion gets the smarmy reply that "They ran up the debt and they should be forced to pay for it!" While technically true, the reality is that there is no way it is going to happen either economically, politically or any other way. If conservatives don't have an alternative, then the BO or Lizzie Warren plan will win by default-- some form of forgive the debt in return for left-wing government service.
My sons worked through college to avoid debt. We helped. They also watched what they spent. They missed out on a lot of unhealthy “fun.” For some students college is an extension of daycare.
I have been thinking of studying underwater basket weaving.
