I understand that all jurors said they could vote for the death penalty when they were selected.

One,or more,of them might have lied to get on the jury.Perhaps they had fantasies of a book deal.Or perhaps their *real* goal was to see that he *didn't* fry.I'm ashamed to admit that I know very little about this great big world of ours but I promise you that I *do* know Massachusetts.

I'm in Red Hampshire, and I said the same as you some time ago. You can put your salt and pepper away...the parents of the dead child just came out and said they do NOT want the death penalty applied. Am I surprised? Not at all.
