Listen to the news chopper female speak at the very beginning of the video. They had just then arrived on scene and started their video.
Those on the ground had their Sheriff's chopper low and loud, orbiting right over the top of them. Those on the ground likely had no idea a news chopper with a big camera lens had just arrived, far above the the Sheriff chopper. Rural, in the high desert hills.
I'm very confident they'd never do what they did in front of a news team or cameras.
You are right, but as I watch more and more of these videos, I am starting to think that they don’t care about being caught on film, nearly as much as we think they do or should.
There is a growing unease in me, that if we don’t get law enforcement under our control in this country, that as the years and decades go by, that they will become less and less concerned about what we catch them at.
If that were true you'd expect a huge transformation in attitude post Rodney King. Didn't happen, it's gotten worse.
