Six years too late, one would think.

God bless the little boy but to think the last most important wish of a dying boy would be to see his parents get married??????.....how sad.....how utterly sad that our children are growing up this way...

mom and dad...shame on you...producing babies without forethought of being real parents...

Reminds me of the parable of the workers - where the ones hired towards the end of the workday get the same wage as those who were hired in the morning.

Sometimes it’s good to just celebrate when folks finally do the right thing...

Art Linkletter's book Kids Say the Darndest Things is mainly based on things said by kids on his "House Party" show, and was published in the late 1950s.

Once a kid asked what his favorite wish was volunteered that he would like to see his mommy and daddy get married. Linkletter's comment was that on hearing their kid say that, two respectably married parents made plans to dash to the nearest border.

That was in the 1950s when the chances were that a kid saying that was just confused--that his parents were properly married.
