Prayers sent...
Approximately one year ago, I too fell on a tiny patch of ice. While my injuries were to my face and arms, they were NOTHING compared to your husband’s. At the time, my wife was suffering a stroke and I was taking her to the emergency hospital some 60 miles away. I fell literally on the door step of the emergency entrance. (No I did not sue the hospital). Fortunately my wife was cared for in time to receive medication which counteracted the stroke and is doing well having completely recovered.
