I don’t find those numbers shocking. Jeb Bush is not a Republican. Why would a Republican vote for him? I will not vote for the guy for any reason. Or Chris Christie. They are my line in the sand.

I see to recall a similar level of voter rejection for John McCain prior to the 2008 primaries.

This is why I’ve voted on every Republican “who do you want for President poll?” they’ve mailed me.
I think that has more impact on the party and the money for candidates, and thus influence, than voting in the election.
