2 College Students Charged in Gang Rape on Florida Beach
Two college students have been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a young woman on a Florida beach during spring break, in an attack that hundreds of bystanders apparently did nothing to stop, authorities said.
Delonte' Martistee, 22, and Ryan Austin Calhoun, 23, were arrested Friday and charged with sexual battery by multiple perpetrators, the Bay County Sheriff's Office said in a statement. Both are students at Troy University in Alabama, NBC station WJHG reported.
The arrests were made after the Troy, Alabama, police department discovered video of the sexual assault, which occurred between March 10 and 12 on a Panama City Beach, as it investigated a shooting, the sheriff's office said. The video shows the sexual assault of a 19-year-old passed out on the sand.
Bay County Sheriff Frank McKeithen called the video "probably one of the most disgusting, repulsive, sickening things that I have seen this year on Panama City Beach, and I have seen a lot of them," WJHG reported.

When I was young, yes there actually was such a time, there was no “Spring Break”, just Good Friday and the Monday after Easter off. We did get off earlier in May so Summer jobs were longer and thus we earned more.

I didn’t want to watch the video, but I assume it’s black on black. If so, forget it - black women are called “race traitors” for complaining about such minor things as rape and beatings.
If it’s black on white, and the victim was white, also forget about it.
I remember one time when, early on in her career, Alice Walker, a black and ultimately leftist author (but one who was originally very interested in Flannery O’Connor), gave an account of a white friend of hers who had been raped by a black man in an organization for which she was volunteering. The white woman wouldn’t complain because she said it would make blacks look bad, and at that point in her career, Alice Walker said that it was racist to refuse to point out bad behavior by a black individual, because it meant that you secretly thought that all black people were like that.
Of course, Alice Walker changed and became very PC, but she had some good insights before that. And I thought that was one of them.

I had friends from average economic situations that went (25 years ago); I was too busy working to pay for college with a full-time job to ever go.
I couldn’t enjoy being around that many young people; I was an old man at 15...
Spring break meant cheap labor for farmers in my neck of the woods.
