It would be nice to think so, but I think Carville is not about to change his spots, even on this level. I think the Dems have assessed that Cruz is the ONE candidate who they can demonize with the least amount of trouble, as a dangerous “extremist”, that’s why people like Carville (probably soon to be joined by others)are going through the charade that they admire his intellect and his principled Reagan-like view of things. It is just a charade, and it kills two birds with one stone: it makes key Dem veterans look open-minded (for once) and helps with the counter-intuitive task of putting Cruz front and center as a target. Until and unless they state they’re voting for him, I have to believe they’re acting out of the most duplicitous of motives.

I have always respected James for his candor and loyalty, however misplaced it may be at times. He’s one of those fox hole under fire kinda friends. Not a typical liberal.

And you think Carville, a supporter of Hillary, is a supporter of Cruz? Carville is a pretty smart guy. If Cruz, or Rubio, or Jindal, or Haley, is Hillary’s opponent can you predict that Hillary, whose Pennsylvania campaign director, Phil Berg, was one of the first to raise eligibility questions about Obama. would leave any of the above unchallenged? Hillary, in April 2008,co-sponsored and signed the whitewash resolution, Senate 511, asserting that a natural born citizen was a citizen born to two citizen parents, But then, so did Barack.

Our progressive media will say Barack was as eligible as any anchor baby, having been born in Hawaii, as Wong Kim Ark was born in San Francisco. Forget that the Supreme Court made Wong a citizen, not natural born. Cruz was born in Calgary. Since the law has become more about perception than legal history or law, neither the 14th Amendment nor any misreading of a Supreme Court Case could support Cruz’ eligibility and Hillary supporters will be in the unusual position of being able to support the Constitution and cite the dozens of cases confirming Minor v. Happersett as the precedent that it was in 1874 and is today.

Nah, they are just so low on ratings they have to “bow” to the truth once in a while.

Besides Carville is very much in the Hillary court so I wouldn’t trust anything he says favorable toward any candidate.
