Rev. 13:11 talks of another “beast” (government) that was “coming up” (to spring up or emerge) “out of the earth (sparsely populated land) a “lamb” (youthful and peaceful intent) that “spake as a dragon” (that is with authority in a way that seemingly conflicts with its innocent appearance). The fact that there is little prophesied about the US would be because in terms of age of countries, we are on the scene briefly before things begin to happen that bring about the final conflict.

Steinitz: S-300 deal direct result of nuke accord
Intelligence Minister Yuval Steinitz, a long-standing opponent of the nuclear framework deal reached with Iran earlier this month, says that the technologically advanced S-300 air-defense system that Russia has reportedly cleared for sale with Tehran is inextricably linked to the Lausanne agreement.
“This is the direct result of the legitimacy granted to Iran from the nuclear deal that is being forged,” he says in a written statement, “and it is proof that the Iranian economic momentum, to come in the wake of sanctions removal, will be exploited for arms build-up and not the welfare of the Iranian people.”
He continues, “Rather than demand of Iran that it cease its terror activity, which it spreads across the Middle East and the world, it is being allowed to arm itself with advanced weaponry that will only heighten its aggression.”
Israel has long urged Russian leader Vladimir Putin to refrain from selling the air-defense system to Syria and Iran, as it diminishes the regional aerial superiority that Israel has maintained since the start of the First Lebanon War in the summer of 1982.
Obama is definitely an absentee President when it comes to the Middle East, …..which means we are an absentee nation.
Hear me out. I think that God is protecting Iran to grow into a formidable power.....so that Ezekiel 38 and 39 can be fulfilled. Think about it. 40 years ago, Iran was not a formidable power. Now she is. God is getting her and Gog and Magog ready for the destruction brought on by Israel so that, as it is written in Ezek. 38-39, “the people will know I am the Lord.”

And what about the effectiveness of the S-300 without the support of the other two legs of the air defense stool? Namely whatever fighters and AAA capability the Iranians have?
As much as Pootin likes to stir up trouble to make us waste effort I have to believe he’s tired of getting stiffed by mideast dunces. As I recall he left something like 11 billion bucks on the table when Saddam went down. Syria’s check hasn’t been good for a few years now. But I can see him squeezing in one more clusterflock if he thinks missiles to Iran will somehow get US/Israel to react. The dead giveaway will be whether he sends Russians to operate anything he sends to Iran.

If I wasn’t assured of my salvation, I would lie awake at night in terror. Which is what happened to me during the first Gulf War when I thought Israel was going to get pulled into it. I was unregenerated at the time. Since then, I’ve become born again, and sleep like a baby.

keep in mind ISIL - Iran, Syria, Iraq and the Levant portion is an old term for what now makes up what is called the Promise Land.
