State Department: Not the time for S-300 sale
THE TIMES OF ISRAEL ^ | April 13, 2015

Posted on 04/13/2015 11:11:51 AM PDT by McGruff

State Department Spokesperson Marie Harf says John Kerry expressed displeasure over Moscow’s sale of the S-300 missile system in a phone call with Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov.

Harf says the transfer of the S-300 missile system to Iran would not violate existing United Nations Security Council sanctions.

However, she says given the turmoil in the Middle East, the US believes “this is not the time” for the sale.

would not violate existing United Nations Security Council sanctions.

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry raised concerns with his Russian counterpart over Russia's decision to lift a ban on missile deliveries to Iran, the White House said on Monday.

Russia's decision to start an oil-for-goods swap could also raise sanctions concerns, White House spokesman Josh Earnest told reporters at a daily briefing.

Huh? Did she just give them the green light?

The gave them the whole light pole, along with the controller, pavement sensors and provided them with the electricity to run it.

Well, actually, Putin's in charge here. He's pulling all the strings, and getting things done. But he's not interfering with Obama's tee times. So it's all good.

Israel says Russia’s decision to sell advanced anti-aircraft missiles to Iran is the “direct result” of the international community’s framework nuclear deal with the Islamic Republic.

Israel has harshly criticized the U.S.-led nuclear deal, saying it would give Iran relief from sanctions while leaving its nuclear program largely intact. Israel believes Iran still intends to develop a nuclear weapon.

Thanks to John Kerry.

PSaki and Harf are worldwide jokes.

ONLY in America are the media too afraid to show these people as they really are, for they fear, WITH GOOD REASON, that it could mean the end of their careers.

However, she says given the turmoil in the Middle East, the US believes “this is not the time” for the sale.

The childishness and immaturity of this statement from a State Department representative is unbelievable.

Nobody is this rock stupid. We're actually watching a pas de deux between Jarrett and Putin.
