Ya know, I tried real hard to recall, then search for what my platoon number was. Think it had a 76 in it. No luck. Yearbook long gone.

How do you forget your platoon number?! That thing is etched in my mind and I'll never forget it. I was in Platoon 1017.

I dunno, lost track I suppose, just too much going on. In 65-66. the Corps was a busy place. I was immediately sent to a technical school at El Toro after ITR and it never let up after that.

Boot camp was a distant memory six months after I left MCRD, had too much new stuff going on.
