Especially as we lost a small battle yesterday, John C. Wright (who was over for BBQ on Sunday) just lost his nomination for best novella, because he posted a PORTION of the work online, on his blog, in 2013, prior to formal publication in 2014. But, SJW darling John Scalzi had published his “Old Man’s War” online THREE years prior, and was still eligible to be nominated for a Hugo in 2006. . .
How about that. Those who have chosen to break down order and tradition use (and abuse) rules to their advantage.
