I have noticed a large uptick in the number of government paid advertisements on radio lately by the Ad Council.

I have noticed that too on the 'local' station I listen to online (KFAY, Fayetteville, AR). Most of the ads are from the Ad Council.

One that irritates me is the brat telling America they are throwing away food while kids are going hungry. Depending on the ad, there are between 13 million and 19 million hungry kids. [So what does the EBT money go for?]

I have noticed recently that KFAY frequently just goes silent for 30 seconds or so. I get the impression radio is having a tough time filling ad space.

Government to the rescue. Buying support, one station at a time. No different than an EBT card.
