Is winter completely over, in the Northeast? When is the last snowfall, usually? It's never over. I't been known to snow in the Berkshire Hills of Massachusetts in July. Snow in April is not exceptional.

I’m 65 years old. I’ve lived in New England almost all of my life. I’ve never experienced a colder or snowier winter ever. It was actually horrible.

Well, the term "Northeast" covers a lot of territory and not all areas within it set snowfall records.
Rochester NY had average snowfall (~100 inches), but February was our coldest month EVER. Brrrrrrr ...

We have had snow here in souhtern NH in May. It is pretty rare though. We did just have a couple inches last week. I was in Aruba at the time, though. I felt really bad for the people here.

But we were assured recently that this was the “warmest winter EVER”.
Not that they would lie, right?
*snerk, of course they would.*

It was about 6-7 years ago my wife and I scrambled to knock heavy freezing rain & wet snow off our blooming Lilacs. The branches were nearly on the ground due to the weight. This was in the third week of May in upstate NY!

Yes, but this doesn't mean a thing. Record cold spells are simply natural. Global warming isn't. /Sarcasim

They tell you global warming causes cold weather.
Yesterday a middle aged guy patiently explained to me that “global warming results in more water in the atmosphere which results in more snow. See?”
I loved the “see?” at the end. It all made perfect sense to him.

Regime affiliate Comcast purchased the Weather Channel in 2008 to help spread the gospel of climate change. It appears to have been a successful strategy.

Some of the Appalachian mountain ranges up here can get snow almost any time of the year (the Adirondacks in New York, the Berkshires in Mass., the White Mountains in New Hampshire, etc.).
A few years ago (I think it was 2010) parts of New Jersey had frost in June (overnight on May 31st to June 1st) for the first time in recorded history.

That’s why we call it CLIMATE CHANGE and not GLOBAL WARMING these days. Except in California. They’ll believe anything out there, as long as it comes out of a liberal’s mouth.
