His Majesty has folded. Celebrate with accordions, beach chairs and umbrellas, and then make it law.

Nope. Obama is getting what he wants. This is probably the worst thing any US senate has ever done. Now a 2/3 majority is needed to oppose a president's treaty. Re: Mark Levin for details.

i don't think so.

This bill killed the 2/3 majority needed to ratified a treaty .
It killed the constitutional authority and will Iran to get out of the embargo !

It's a scam by Corker and Rand and Rubio and Mitchy

If obama won’t fight this and the senate approved this it must be horrible. IMHO

Without this new proposed law, Obama needs 2/3 of Senators present to get a treaty passed. With this law, he can merely veto any Senatorial objection and then the Senate would then need 2/3 vote to override his veto. This proposal looks like one of the worst sell- outs of the Constitution -— and quite frankly out safety or survival as a nation would be very much placed at risk by the Senate enabling Obama’s letting our sworn enemies have nuclear bombs and icbm-s. Please correct this if I’m wrong but this looks very very very dangerous Dear senators, please can’t you just do your job instead of defending the Enrmy Within ( our White House) all the time? What do we pay you for?

Congress already had a say.

Now congress is trying to betray us all, and then after betraying us they will claim they did something for us...

Folded? No, silly—that was the GOP, per usual.

All Barry needs now is the approval of 34 Democrat Senators—when 67 votes (and thus lots of Republicans) is what should be required.

The proposal is also unconstitutional in that it attempts to shift most of the Senatorial duty ( and power) ( advise and consent to treaties by 2/3 of those present) to the White House
