To: C. Edmund Wright

Don’t really know much about the author. Just looked like something that might provoke some discussion here.

I liked his comment about Huckabee being warmed over goods to be encouraging, as I am a bit concerned that he and Carson are potential siphons for evangelicals away from Cruz.

I don’t think Huck nor Carson will funnel too many away from Cruz. Carson will be the new flavor du jour for a while perhaps, but I don’t see staying power.

Huck is old news. Lotta Huck and lotta Santorum folks (many are the same folks) have moved on from 08 and ‘12.

But yes, the author is self professed moderate, so it’s interesting that this was his take.

oh sorry, my last post - I was thinking the author was Jazz Shaw. This was Ron Fournier, a big liberal from Arkansas who rode Clinton’s coat tails to a Washington DC gig....
