I may be a minority here. But I really don’t like how they have girl reporters on sports nowadays. Maybe I’m in a big minority. I enjoy girls as much as any man. But I feel like there’s a time and a place for everything, and football games and sports programs and girls together just don’t do it for me.

It's just a silly example of the diversity madness gripping us.

I am a 71 year old female and I have been changing channels when a female sports person is on for years. They have always bugged me for some reason.

Thank you - me either. And I want a broadcaster who has either played the sport he’s blathering about or looks like he could have.

Eh. I don't care for it either. But I never paid attention to the sideline people anyway, except the ones who were funny, either intentionally or unintentionally.
I did find one thing really creepy, though. When the last Super Bowl ended, there was this older, femaie cougar-looking woman stalking Malcolm Butler around the field, trying to be the person on the spot and get the interview with him. Every time the camera was on him, you could see this woman lurking in the background, like a predator, making quick dashing movements to try to cut him off at the pass and catch him.
Creepy creepy!

That's society nowadays..Pushing the envelope; gender, race, orientation mean more than qualifications. Saw it in 2008 with Obama, seeing it now with the media drooling about a woman president. It's all about making a splash by putting some of the most unlikely people in positions to cause a buzz. Are some immensely qualified?? yes..but IMO, most aren't.
