You are right. They are the Jews that were proud of the Iron Cross won on the Somme in 1914 and proud of their service to the Kaiser’s army. They were GERMANS, who happened to be born of Jewish parents, or maybe even a single grandparent. They knew they were GERMANS and were respected citizens.
When the Zyklon B filled their lungs, their last thought was “WHY ME?”
Lessons of history ignored are lesson relived, aren’t they?
