Liberalism predominates politically these days.
And liberals are really nothing but socialists who believe all wealth (except theirs) belongs to the state.
And that it is the state (they) who have the right to decide who gets what and why.
And taxes are the lifeblood of the "Fundamental Transformation" to the socialist state they so desperately seek.
