Between the shrimp on a treadmill study and then the IRS's Star Trek-themed training films, there have been more than a few cries of outrage from taxpayers fed-up with their hard earned dollars seemingly wasted on hyper-frivolous reports and projects, the federal government doesn't seem to have gotten the message. Case in point would be the article published by The Washington Free Beacon on April 17, 2015, which details the government dropping nearly a half million dollars to study the levels of sexual satisfaction for men after their first "penetrative same-sex experience."
With the impressive project title of FIRST AND SUBSEQUENT SAME-SEX SEXUAL SATISFACTION AND BEHAVIOR IN YOUNG AAMSM, the National Institute of Health (NIH) isn't shelling out $410,265 just to study any ol' generic homosexual males. No, the NIH is very specific as to who is at the receiving end of their probe.
This go 'round of bureaucrats questionable stewardship of the American workers tribute to Washington comes in the form of an in depth study on how the first experience of anal sex has been for African American adolescent men who have sex with men. Or in official NIH-speak: Young AAMSM.
While the federal government is bestowing the heaps of cash to Baltimore's famed Johns Hopkins University to conduct the study, special emphasis is placed on delving into the innermost secrets of what exactly aids in the development of "self-esteem in young gay and bisexual men".

I’ll bet in many cases the first time was other than consensual.
Articles like this are meaningless without names. Which bureaucrat or politician directed money to this particular issue? We need specifics. Provide names so that citizens can hold individual bureaucrats or congressmen accountable.
Former Senators William Proxmire (D-WI) and Tom Coburn (R-OK) were great at exposing waste in government but they never named the specific beureaucrats or congressmen who were responsible for the waste.
I just threw up in my mouth a little....
Our federal government - doing their part to divert embracity...
