And do mixed white-black children qualify?
What if you are a recent African immigrant whose ancestors were slaves in England? Do you qualify for reparations in the USA?
What about slaves who were captured by ARAB MUSLIM slave traders? Do they get to claim from Saudi Arabia?
That’s the thing. ANYONE who submits a valid, provable claim loses rights to ALL public benefits, present and future, if they accept the reparation no matter what the value of the payout. PERIOD. As for the Saudis and the rest of the Muslims who engaged (at by some accounts still engaging)in slaving, well, that’s their and their slave’s decedents problem, not ours.
