Great point. My uncle, go rest his soul please, was at the bulge. An other battles. He remembers streaming tears coming own his face as he manned the machine gun on a tank an kept killing Germans but they wouldn’t stop coming. He hated Patton though. Sometimes that’s the sig of a god leader. Boy was my uncle tough :_
Just think how awesome Patton could have been if he could have accomplished everything he did, but without making so many enemies along the way. Is that even possible? It bummed me out reading all that stuff in Killing Patton.
