REPORT: One of the Koch brothers just revealed which Republican 2016 candidate they support

Two of the most prominent and influential megadonors in the Republican Party reportedly have picked their man in the 2016 presidential race: Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R).

According to The New York Times, David Koch told a Monday gathering of GOP donors that he and his fellow billionaire brother, Charles Koch, want Walker in the White House.

"We will support whoever the candidate is," Koch said at the Manhattan event, according to Times reporter Nick Confessore's sources. "But it should be Scott Walker."

The Koch brothers are two of the most free-spending donors in American politics, and they have a vast network of rich allies to help fund their various political organizations. Indeed, they reportedly plan on spending close to $1 billion in 2016, and liberals have long sought to make them the face of a broken campaign finance system.

Walker is conservative. He's put a conservative agenda front and center in Wisconsin, That's why they tried to recall him. That's why the Dem/Progressives have given all kinds of grief to Walker supporters in Wisconsin. Unbelievable terror to some of Walker's staffers and campaign workers. See and read the whole thing:

To say nothing of the death threats -- even to his kids and his mother. He has been tested and found up to the task. Cruz is good. I would have no trouble voting for him. Hopefully, they'll wind up on the same ticket; and I don't care who's on top.

Aren’t they socially liberal?

In case you haven’t noticed, those decisions (and any changes) are in the hands of the legislatures first and the judiciary second. The chief executive has little to say about it, other than the bully pulpit.

Doesn't matter. As for me and my house, the money and time here go to Cruz. I'm firm about that. I'll either vote for Cruz as President or skip that election entirely and move on down the list.

Cruz or lose. Money and shoeleather beat talking any day of the week. Cruz is getting my money along with FR. I've always given to FR every quarter when I could, but this is the first time that I've sent money to a politician this early in the game. Get used to it.

Cruz or lose.

I strongly prefer Cruz. If Cruz gets eliminated, I think that I might be able to support Walker. Don’t think that I’ll be staying home.

Agreed, Cruz or lose. The flip flopping etch-a-sketcher’s Walker, Jeb, and the rest of the RINO’s Fox NEws likes to put on but ignore Cruz tells me I’m on the right team.

Cruz 2016 or i’ll just write him in and let the GOP go the way of the Whig party.

I thought Mrs. Cruz was a Managing Partner at Goldman. Not that it makes any difference really.

No-one said anything about staying home. I just won't vote for the top of the ticket. I've got conservatives to vote for downticket.

I'm certainly not going to vote for whatever liberal (R) the media and the GOP-E throws out there.

No, she's on leave-of-absence until this whole thing goes away.

Which means she isn't working for anybody. Facts matter.

They all take the sacred oath to support and defend the Constitution, which absolutely requires equal protection for every person.

Relax John-boy.

I meant it doesn’t matter if she’s MP or VP of GS. And if she took a leave of absence then fine. I don’t spend my days keeping up on what Ted Cruz’s wife is doing - some of us work for a living.

Get a grip.

You’re probably right and I probably misremembered her exact title. Whatever she may be, Cruz has the blessing of Goldman and whether that’s a good or bad thing is left as an exercise for the reader.

Nope. I expect to be off-the-chain for a conservative this time around. Get used to it. The media is going to have to.
