My father emigrated from Quebec Canada in '05 or something as a child .. settled in Charlestown, Mass and became a comfortably successful businessman, rearing 6 boys and two girls

He never spoke French in the home yet was fluent with Mamere and others of the family

Dad was so happy to be a white guy in the USA, he ASSIMILATED and never attempted French or Canadian culture into our life

Sounds like your dad was a good man.

I’m sure he played by the rules, and respected others who did as well.

I’ve always been happy to be who and what I am. I like that others are too. I like to see successful Blacks and Hispanics. The color of the skin doesn’t matter, but it does matter what we decide is right or wrong.

Not being able to grasp that illegal immigration is wrong, and those folks should have to go back home, for fifteen years, doesn’t impress me as a man that is gifted with intelligence.
