Perhaps it’s the Jewish state, but the state of Judaism in Israel might raise a few eyebrows: according to an international Gallup poll, Israel is now one of the world’s least religious countries.

“Anyone who has not sinned didn’t crucify Christ.”

Romans 3:23 -

“all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”

“Does a Jewish believer have to stop being Jewish?”

There are Jews for Jesus so apparently not.

Acts 2:36 - Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

You are either unable to comprehend what I’ve posted to you, or you’re ignoring it completely.

Well, there’s a third possibility, which is that you want to complicate what is quite simple, so that you can bloviate endlessly and attempt to impress with long-winded posts.

However, it is, as I said, simple.

No one receives salvation except through Jesus Christ, including the Jews.

But they remain the chosen people of God, and close to His heart, because of His eternal covenant with them. The end times revolve around Israel. He is far from done with them, and at the end, all of those Jews who remain will look upon the Lord, understand He is their Messiah, and be saved.

This is all Biblical. If you don’t accept it, it’s your issue.

The modern state of Israel is anti-Christ at this point.

At this point, it is therefore unscriptural and against the will of God to support that anti-Christ nation.

By the same token, most every other nation is anti-Christ as well at this point. Until the post-WWII era, the US had been arguably a Christian nation, but that’s a difficult argument to make now.

No nation currently has any sort of covenantal relationship with God under the Kingdom of Christ. A Christian nation would have to establish Biblically sound laws and institutions.

For example, if it has schools, they must be Biblically sound, which would include not teaching any other religion than Biblically sound Christianity. Countries that espouse religious pluralism institutionalize other religions that are enemies of Jesus Christ. Of course, secular humanist ethics are also anti-Christ. The teaching of morals and ethics must fully espouse and be founded upon Biblical doctrine in order for such education to be Biblical.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religious_education_in_primary_and_secondary_education

In addition to those in the above article, Iceland reportedly requires Christian education in its public education system for children.

I mention education as an example since it typically always includes teaching on ethics, which, in a Christian nation, can not teach principles opposed to the Bible. Therefore, any teaching in a Christian nation can not allow religious pluralism or secular humanism to be taught alongside Christian ethics as “another option”, etc.

I’d like you to comment on the anti-Christ stances I noted in my earlier post in the modern state of Israel that are institutionalized in it’s government and culture.

I find that the reflex support of the modern nation of Israel amongst professing Christians consistently ignores the vile attitude towards Jesus Christ that is institutionalized in that modern culture and government.

I don’t think that is true. You are correct the government is secular, but the only place Christians are safe (and, indeed, prosper) in the ME is Israel. Israel, alone among the nations, was instrumental in helping Coptic Christians flee Egypt, too.

Hi jb.

Thanks for checking in.

That’s what the powers that be tell us conservative Christian rank-and-file all the time.

But... Americans and Europeans are running all over the middle east making money.

Tons of it.

If we don’t testify to the Gospel message, and go along to get along, we’re fine.

Except in the odd hostage crisis. But statistically, that’s a pretty low probability.

So... American Christians are supposed to politically support Israel no matter what the situation, because if we spread the Gospel in Israel we’re just intimidated and made to stop, whereas in Islamic countries we would be arrested and judicially imprisoned or killed.

(seems to me the bar is kind of low if the basis of being national allies is... we don’t kill your citizens when they visit our country).

We aren’t supposed to testify to the Gospel anywhere in the ME.

The entire ME wants to be a no-Christ zone.

Now, can we talk about socialism and communism ? 2 million Jews in New York City, and I can’t find any that aren’t socialists. Even the wealthy seem to vote Democrat... if not Socialist / Communist.

And if they are “Republican”... they seem to either support the homosexual agenda or at least not oppose it.

Where are all those conservatives ?! Help me find those conservatives !

“We aren’t supposed to testify to the Gospel anywhere in the ME.”

That’s just not true. There are Christian evangelists all over Israel.

Yes, it is illegal in Israel for ANY religion to seek to convert minors to ANY religion under the age of 18. That has more to do with kids having brains full of mush, than anything.

And Yes, it is illegal for people of all religions from other countries to lie and say you are a tourist (or whatever) in Israel and come with the sole purpose of setting up a mission or whatnot, but that mainly has to do with keeping out whacko cults like Scientology that seem to target Israel for reasons unknown. If a citizen (or person with a proper visa) wanted to open up a church and invite all who want to come to come, they can. Similarly, if you want to “spread the gospel” while you are an actual tourist/there on legit business have at it.

Our 1st Amendment equivalent is actually stronger than the USAs.

Meaningful Judaism can be about values, tradition, culture, and community.”

Values? Based on what? Based on the Torah and religion AND belief in G-d.
Tradition? Based on what? Based on a TRADITION of observing the Laws.
Culture? Based on what? Based on all of the above.
Community? Based on what?

All these points are SPINOFFS OF THE CORE religion and observance of G-d’s laws. Remove the G-d element and you subsist on fumes which eventually fade away, leaving you with bagels & lox only...

Guess what...

The author of that is a very wealthy, very, very adamant supporter of the homosexual agenda, using it as the basis for an advertising campaign in Manhattan.

It’s like these folks never read their Torah.

How many times does the word believe appear ? By my count 43.

Ah, the aching and yearning in my heart.

I see articles and anecdotes all over indicating otherwise.

For example, this article:

http://www.christianitytoday.com/gleanings/2013/november/israel-orders-deportation-of-jews-for-jesus-missionary.html

According to the article:

(excerpt, read more at link)

“The reason the state of Israel gave for his deportation, he said, was that Barnett was engaging in missionary activity and not regular tourist activity on a B2 tourist visa.”

Also, there is the reported intimidation of

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lev_L%27Achim

to which reportedly the government gives a wink and a nod.

It seems clear the strategy is to use technicalities of law as much as possible and intimidation as much as possible to impede Christian missionaries as much as possible while being able to say that the “door is open” to them.

I would submit:

Act 5

“38 And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought:

39 But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God.”

And in the meantime I would humbly submit...

I think America and Israel as nations are mired in sin and turning their backs on God.

I think Jews and Christians in both countries have their spiritual work cut out for them, for both nations are now at the point of institutionalizing abombinable acts.

Neither, IMHO, can claim to be on some righteous high horse where their governments go on military and espionage ventures at the behest of a few elites manuevering for commericial interests, power, central banks, drugs, etc.

Oops, that last post should read “Acts 5”.

Also, of course in no way am I meaning to diminish the significance of the situations in other middle eastern nations - as they are all entangled, of course, in the same new world order middle eastern mess of US tax dollars, oil, investments, terror, wars, barbarism, espionage, false flags, globalist-controlled trade and finance, central banking, etc., etc., etc.

I’m not sure that anything in your post contradicts what I said.

You can get deported for being a foreigner in Israel if you violate the terms of your visa.

From your article, a man claimed to be a tourist when he was working as a missionary. He lied, so they deported him.

The people that were Israeli citizens, in contrast, were unhindered in their conversion efforts.

“There are Jews for Jesus so apparently not.”

1Co 7:18 Is any man called being circumcised? let him not become uncircumcised. Is any called in uncircumcision? let him not be circumcised.
1Co 7:19 Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God.
1Co 7:20 Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called.

Unfortunately the church has been gentilizing Jews for a long time for them to be saved but there is no scriptural authority to do so.

The worst rebuke Jesus had was for the professional religionist.
