McD’s is only good with their value burgers like the Mcdouble for $1.39. You cant beat that if you’re a student on a tight budget. They were a good value at 99 cents. At a buck fifty (with tax) not so much. The dollar drinks are a good deal, but people just stop for the drinks, and skip the food, which defeats the point of a loss-leader.

I will admit, I go to McD’s for the $1 giant drink which is also refillable LOL. I know a couple of guys in my line of work who actually wash the cup and come back the next day to refill, no joke. One of them just buys 3 MCChicken’s for $1.19 each so his lunch would be not even $4.

Drinks are not a loss leader the burgers are. Drinks cost McDs 8 cents for a drink and charge 79 cents.
