Good God you will make excuses for him to the end. How sad really. He really isn’t worth it.
[[And in fact so does God]]
You might want to look into that a little more- He has clearly stated many times in His word He does not love the sinner- There are myriad verses stating that- these are just a few
5 The boastful shall not stand before your eyes; you hate all evildoers. 6 You destroy those who speak lies; the Lord abhors the bloodthirsty and deceitful man (Psalms 5:5-6).
5 The Lord tests the righteous, but his soul hates the wicked and the one who loves violence (Psalms 11:5).
16 There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: 17 haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, 18 a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, 19 a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers (Proverbs 6:16-19).
36 Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him (John 3:36).
So if Cruz said he would disown his daughter, it would be worse politically.
Cannot win with these asshats.
Are you often late to parties and such?
Well reality is here. Walker will win Iowa and New Hampshire. Cruz will win South Carolina with Walker getting second place. Walker wins Florida and from there not sure. Both will fight it out.
Very classy reply, dp, to a bitterly sour remark. We like your style.
Yes, he didn’t say he would have no problem with it. He said he would love her just the same. Typical NY Times.
Lol....why do you think that a asbestos suit is sometimes required here.....
Just one misspelled word, or a comment not written right, or the lack of a sarcasm tag will find you in a lot of heat..
Funny how some people have no problem seeing the sarcasm and it is impossible for others. Sarcasm is my first language so maybe that’s why I’m one of the ones that sees it. Some people get hugely bent out of shape though, don’t they?
well, now you’ll never be the dumbest. I’m here :)
For the record, I understood it immediately.
You make a good point. The author takes the hosts of reception to task, more than Sen. Cruz— i.e. how can you associate with Cruz??? And, they reply that their concern in this case is Israel and national security, not social issues.
WOW, that's really mature and makes 1000% sense. No wonder the RATS will win every election from here on out. The right need all of our votes, even if you don't agree with 10% of their views.
I was actually aiming that one at the [very] late misinterpretation by “semaj” of your original post - after so many had already commented on it.
Holy cow! ANOTHER one!
...
...
Pssst. I think maybe you should read up-thread a little...
Hint: Sarcasm.
I believe you would be wise to prepare yourself to adjust your concern meter. There is no way a candidate can just sit and dwell among his own base, stroking only their pet concerns, and never get out and go after the votes that will make him the nominee, or that will make him the president of the USA. The base can help, or hurt, but the middle nominates and elects.
The conservative base hasn’t put a conservative into the nomination, or into the White House, since Ronald Reagan.
We can’t even get them into the Senate on any regular basis.
