What candidate?

I don't know. I was asking you that earlier. Maybe you can enlighten us.

You think Cruz will appoint Harriet Myers? Now you are just being a troll.

I said Cruz is the best, but that doesn’t mean he shouldn’t be vetted and his feet held to the fire. Any Republican has to be watched relentlessly or they backslide. Have you live in the United States the last 30 years?

They aren't conservatives.

That's why I put sarcasm quotes around the word "conservatives".

Why did a lot of RINOs vote no today

Because they were allowed to. Those are called safe votes. I like to call it kabuki theater. It's a meaningless charade designed to fool people who pay scant or no attention to such things.

You don't realize what you are doing. You are saying it's okay to wimp out. You should be pressuring candidates to the right, instead of giving the message that they don't have to fight.

Yes, I do realize what I'm doing. I am happy that Ted showed up for the Superbowl vote which was the cloture vote. I'm happy with the speech he gave about it, and I'm happy that he voted against it.

I understand that the vote that followed was the Pro Bowl vote, and it doesn't matter at all if he participated in the Pro Bowl or not, because the Pro Bowl doesn't matter at all. It's just a show.

If you want to cannibalize the man for missing a show vote, then you go ahead and gnaw away. I'm not going to.

So you wanted Harriet Myers on the Supreme Court?

Myers' nomination never came to a vote.

What's you point?

Bush nominated Myers because he though conservatives weren’t paying attentions. You are saying it’s not worth it to pressure Republicans? Myers would be on the Supreme Court today by your strategy.

Conservative pressure works. Preemptive surrendering never works.

I’m a troll for bringing up a valid point and not surrendering to Romneyism.

You are not vetting or holding anybody’s feet to the fire. You need a real issue to do that. You are just coming off as a bit nutty.

He's still a Senator. There was a lot of value of him being there today. He sent a huge message today to opponents and allies.

No one can explain what he was doing that was more important.

Was he elected to only show up for votes he wins? He is supposed to be a Senator.

Conservative pressure works.

That's what Cruz applied, more than any other Senator, by a long shot. What killed the Harriet Miers nomination were concerns about basic competence, not liberalism.

When the battle was lost, Cruz went off to fight another battle, for us.

Would you rather have a teacher's pet who wants to dress up his attendance record?

Totally false. She was too far to the left.
