No actually I'm pissed. When ever a conservative runs in the primary all we hear is their too extreme and unelectable and should the win they're starved of money and the GOPe starts a whispering campaign against them ( this is the candidate of the fringe this really isn't us). They only want conservatives to show up at election time and to send money in and if they don't then conservatives are the problem. The GOPe handpicked and approved candidates get elected and their main motivation is to reach across the aisle and work with the democrats to get things done in Washington and be relevant in the process. Have they stopped Obama’s over reach? Didn't they just rubber stamp Lynch? Really dig into why our men were hung out to dry in Libya? Ever ask were Obama was that night? No I'm not happy at all but I've come to the realization that as a conservative the Republican party as a vehicle to advance conservatism is a failure. The GOPe and party leaders along with their money people hate conservatism and are actively trying to kill it. Why should I support that?
Hi Bonehead,
You shouldn’t. I shouldn’t. We don’t have to “contribute” funds to buy the rope that will hang us.
IMHO, we need more Senatorial candidates like Tom Cotton and fewer like Thad Cochrane.
One of my Senators is Richard Blumenthal. He will be ripe for replacement in 2016. So THAT is what I need to work for. I’d say that Connecticut would elect someone like Tom Cotton — if we can recruit that person.
Meanwhile, I need to learn what Blumenthal has done these past six years besides kiss Harry Reid’s — ahem — “ring”.
