Statue of Liberty being evacuated

The Statue of Liberty and Liberty Island were both been evacuated Friday afternoon as a precaution amid security concerns, the National Parks Service said. The evacuation of the monument began shortly before 1 p.m., parks officials say. A security sweep of Liberty Island is being done.

The reality is that good policing starts with good analysis and filtering of data. Ergo, profiling (racial and other metrics) is only logical. It's simply the application of Occam's Razor.
