Deep seated religious beliefs, like, “You shall not murder,” and “You shall not commit adultery.” These need to change.
Or: Personally I’m opposed to killing Jews, but I don’t want to impose my values on Nazis.
All religions need sacraments, even secular religions. They unfortunately chose human sacrifice as theirs.
